Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the gals at The Broke and the Bookish. For this week’s list: 2014 Releases I’m Dying to Read.
#10 (No cover and title yet) Night Prince #3 by Jeaniene Frost – I want to know how Vlad will get his HEA. The second book ended in a pretty good place and I can’t wait to read the home stretch.
#9 Between the Devil and Ian Eversea by Julie Anne Long – I will always want more Pennyroyal Green books from Julie Anne Long until we get to the book about Lyon and Olivia.
#8 The Shadow Throne by Jennifer Nielsen – I can’t wait to discover what kind of man and leader Jaron will becoming and what kind of journey he takes to get to that point.
#7 Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins – More Stephanie Perkins, please. I adored Lola and the Boy Next Door and I can’t wait to read the next book.
#6 Landline by Rainbow Rowell – Rainbow Rowell should release a book every week. Just saying.
#5 City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare – This is the ending to a series that I just know would be grand and magnificent. After five books, I’m ready but at the same time I’m not ready for this series to end.
#4 Forged by Desire by Bec McMaster – I loved My Lady Quicksilver and after finding out who the next book will be featuring, I’m soooo excited.
#3 The Chocolate Temptation by Laura Florand – Everybody should read Laura Florand. Seriously. 🙂 And I can’t believe she will release a new book in January just after she released The Chocolate Heart last month. Yay for more books.
#2 (No title and cover yet) Rules of Scoundres #4 – Chase’s book by Sarah MacLean – Even though I haven’t read No Good Duke Goes Unpunished (I’m still waiting for my copy to arrive), I just know this is one of those books that I’ll be eagerly anticipating for next year.
#1 Shield of Winter by Nalini Singh – OMG. I need more Psy-Changeling books. I know that the series will be winding up soon, this being the second to the last, I think. But Nalini Singh’s prose is really special. And when I’m not reading her book, I’m constantly missing her writing.
Time really passes so slow when you’re waiting for something so good. I can’t wait to have these books in my hands. 2014 will rock! I just know it.
What are your picks for the weeks?
I think there are a lot of people (myself included) who would love if Rainbow Rowell released a book every week! I’m also excited for Isla and the Happily Ever After! Great list

Oh! A kindred spirit! I ADORE Laura Florand! I focused my list on YA books only (otherwise I’d never have been able to limit it to ten), otherwise Chocolate Temptation would have been on my list–along with the next two La Vie en Rose books.
And ditto the Psy-Changeling books! We’re so lucky that Nalini’s such a consistent writer!

I get what you mean about limiting your picks to just ten, it’s so hard to do 🙂 I adore Laura Florand and Nalini Singh. They’re just gem authors.

Oh yay, a fellow Laura Florand fan! Isn’t amazing that she released so many books this year and that The Chocolate Temptation will come out a few weeks after The Chocolate Heart? Love reading her books.
