Top Ten All Time Favorites in Historical Romance…

the countess conspiracy
THE COUNTESS CONSPIRACY by Courtney Milan. This was just released late last year but it has become one of my favorites of all time. Courtney Milan at her best. Emotionally-stirring and captivating love story from the genre’s best of the best.

romancing mister bridgerton ROMANCING MISTER BRIDGERTON by Julia Quinn. This is one the best friends-to-lovers stories I’ve read. I love the trajectory of Colin’s and Penelope’s relationship. The joy of reading this book is as much about the journey as it was about the HEA destination.

a kiss for midwinterA KISS FOR MIDWINTER by Courtney Milan. A very powerful novella, in my opinion. Powerful in its plot, in its story development, in the conviction and vulnerability of its characters, and in the enduring and redemptive quality of love.

one good earl
ONE GOOD EARL DESERVES A LOVER by Sarah MacLean. Sarah MacLean shows us how two ragged pieces of puzzles can fit well with one another. Read about quirky yet strong-willed characters who find their peace of mind and most importantly the missing pieces of their hearts in each other.

until you
UNTIL YOU by Judith McNaught. I’ve read and re-read this ages ago and still the story does not lose its magic, for me. It doesn’t matter if the set-up is a bit cliche by present standards, the incomparable Judith McNaught still weaved an authentic, heartbreaking, and heartwarming story between Stephen and Sheridan.
