Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the gals at The Broke and the Bookish. For this week, here’s my…
Top Ten Things on my Bookish Bucket List…
Make a dent in my TBR pile. This is one of my top priorities this year because that list just keeps getting longer and longer. One day of Top Ten Tuesday or Waiting on Wednesday and I’ve added more than a couple of books.
Write more reviews. I just want to spread the love for the books that I’ve enjoyed reading or fell in love with.
Meet and greet with Tahereh Mafi. Ms. Mafi is coming to Manila in April this year! Woot! ^_^ And I vow to be one of the first in line for her signing event. LOL.
Re-read Tahereh Mafi’s Shatter Me series. I really, really want to re-read this series. So much. It hasn’t been 2 months since I’ve read the books but I’m really tempted to suspend my reading schedule of other books and re-read them.
Do something new for my blog. I want to keep my blog fresh so I’m starting to think of ways to change things up a bit or maybe introduce a new feature or just do something new aside from my usual posts.
(If you guys have suggestions on this, I would really, really love to hear them. ^___^)
Read 80 books this year. So, I’ve pegged my challenge to 80 books for 2014 and so far, so good. I’ve read 28 books already and the challenge widget says I’m 10 books ahead of schedule. Yay!
Host another Giveaway on my blog. My funds aren’t exactly overflowing so I don’t host that many giveaways on the blog. Although I really would love to join another giveaway blog hop or host a personal giveaway on my blog soon.
Attend a writers-readers conference. We don’t have much of these events in my country and I’m always envious when I hear news or updates about future or ongoing events.
Meet my long-time favorite authors. I don’t care how far-fetched this may seem at present because I’m on the other side of the world from them but I will make this happen sometime in the future. So, I can’t wait to meet Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Courtney Milan, Julia Quinn, Sarah MacLean, Kate Meader, Lauren Layne, Nalini Singh, Mary Ann Rivers, Sarah Mayberry, Megan Whalen Turner, Bec McMaster, Laura Florand, Rainbow Rowell, Gaelen Foley, Gayle Forman, Elizabeth Hoyt, Cassandra Clare… (and so many more…) LOL ^_^
Visit wonderful libraries abroad. I’d love to visit some of the more famous and less than famous but equally beautiful libraries around the world, if possible. (*I got this idea from
Jamie @ The Perpetual Page-Turner*)
There you go. My Top Ten Tuesday for this week. What are yours? Leave your link in the comment section and I will definitely check them out.
How incredible would it be to meet more favourite authors! I’m excited on your behalf to meet Tahereh Mafi this year! I finished Ignite Me a few weeks ago and enjoyed the series.

Really fun list… I would also love to visit libraries all over the world – even more so I would love to visit certain places from books I have read.

I really like the idea of visiting places mentioned in books that I’ve read. That would be really awesome.

I confess I read the first Shatter Me book and didn’t like it very much. But it was so long ago and everyone just raves about it, I think I might give it another go. Great list.

I think making a dent in the TBR pile is an unspoken truth about everyone’s bucket list — far-reaching and will never be satisfied with all the books that keep coming out! I swear the ratio for read:added-to-TBR is like 1:20 or something outrageous.

LOL 🙂 I think that ratio might be a conservative estimate hahaha.. 🙂

The first one is on my list as well. I totally agree with you regarding WOW and TTT memes that happen every week. I always find a few books to add to my list. My list is HUGE right now 😦 Going to conquer it one day.

I honestly don’t think I’m EVER going to make a dent in my TBR pile at the rate I’m going. I buy more books than I read. And they’re stacked EVERYWHERE. Must stop. Somehow.

Learning to stop my urge to buy books would really take a lot of discipline, which I am kind of lacking at the moment when it comes to this particular task LOL 🙂

80 books would be a great goal!

I want to meet more authors too, and hold more giveaways on the blog, I did a lot of giveaways in the beginning but I’m broke a lot of the time so I stopped except for the odd one lol.
