Throwback Thursday: Historical Romance Edition is a meme hosted by Tin @ Love Saves the World and Mary @ Buried Under Romance where you get to feature historical romance novels published before October 3, 2008.
Visit Ki Pha @ Doing Some Reading and check out her pick for the week as well.
This week, I’m featuring Johanna Lindsey.
The Magic of You, published in March 2005
Warren Anderson is shocked by the brazen advances of his despised enemy’s beautiful niece. Though determined to resist her, he burns for the enchanting British minx. And an impassioned heart implores him to surrender to a love that could stoke the smoldering fires of a family feud into a dangerous, all consuming blaze.
I haven’t read this author yet but I’m intrigued by what looks to be a heroine with very strong opinions, of who she is and what, or who she wants. I’m finding myself wanting to know more about her and the man she has set her sights on. Plus, all that promise of forbidden fruit and all that really couldn’t hurt, could it?
Have you read this book? What are your thoughts about it? I’d love to hear from you guys.
Check out fellow TBT: HR edition participants for their picks for the week.
