Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the gals at The Broke and the Bookish.
Top Ten Authors I’ve Only Read One Book From But NEED to Read More…
TARRYN FISHER. I’ve only read
The Opportunist from her Love Me with Lies series and that book just about destroyed me. I can’t wait to read the rest of her books.
JOY N. HENSLEY. Rites of Passage is one of my favorite reads of the year and Joy Hensley’s debut novel. But she needs to write more books so I have more to read. LOL 🙂
MORGAN MATSON. I’ve only read Since You’ve Been Gone and absolutely adored the story as well as her writing style. She should definitely be on this list.
LILY MAXTON. I was really impressed with
The Wager and gushed about it HERE. There are a lot of impressive writers in the historical romance genre, both old and new, and it’s always great to find one that speaks to you and your reader’s mind. I’m definitely on the look out for more from this author.
MARIE RUTKOSKI. The Winner’s Curse was a book that in the beginning I was a little afraid to read because of all the hype about it. But I did get to read it and you guys, I was totally blown away. It’s one of my best reads for this year too. And I can’t wait for the sequel and for many more books from her.
JOJO MOYES. After reading Me Before You I thought to myself, I’m never going to read another Jojo Moyes book ever, not because it was a bad read, which it wasn’t. In fact, it was an absolutely great read. But I don’t think my heart could take any more. But after a little rest time, I think I’m ready to read more of her books.
MAGGIE STIEFVATER. Technically, I am still reading my first ever book of hers, The Raven Boys, but I’m liking it so far and I think I’ll be wanting to check out her other books as well.
LIVIA BLACKBURNE. I really enjoyed her novella,
Poison Dance, and I have a copy of her debut full-length novel, Midnight Thief. I am so on the look out for her future releases.
ANNE BISHOP. I think Anne Bishop’s writing is not for everyone. It’s a little hard to get into. But once you do, you’ll want more and more. I guess that’s what happened to me. I’ve read Written in Red and I’m clamoring for my copy of Murder of Crows. 🙂
There you go. My Top Ten Tuesday for this week. What are yours? Leave your link in the comment section and I will definitely check them out.
OH man. I’ve not read any of them but 3 are on my tbr pile 😀

I really love Jojo Moyes. She’s one of my favourite authors. Not all of her books are as heart breaking as Me Before You. I highly recommend Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson. It’s incredibly sad, but so well written. Great list!

That is good to know about Jojo Moyes, Chrissi. 🙂 That makes me less and less afraid of picking up her other books. I’m going to be hunting a copy of Second Chance Summer as well. Thank you for the recommendation! 🙂

I hope I get around to reading Tarryn Fisher’s other books too. She sure knows how to write shocking twists.

Great list! I haven’t read anything by Tarryn Fisher yet, but I’ve had that series recommended to me. I’ve also yet to read a Morgan Matson books, I don’t know why but they seem so fluffy to me, and sometimes I like fluff, but I just haven’t had the NEED to pick one up. I hope I do some day though to see what all the fuss is about! Same goes for Jenny Han – but I did just pick up The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy, and I’m looking forward to getting stuck into it! I’ve heard of the rest of the authors but the only one I’ve read is Maggie, I’ve read the Shiver trilogy and want to build on my collection!

Tarryn Fisher, I definitely recommend. And I do hope in the near future, you’ll get that needed push to pick up one of Morgan Matson’s books 🙂 I’m pretty much waiting for the sequel of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han and at the moment I don’t have any inkling of picking up her earlier series. LOL 🙂

I’ve read only a few from this list, but I really want to read Midnight Thief! I recognise so many of these writers and I haven’t even read ONE of their books yet…*sigh* Definitely need to remedy that. Especially Rites of Passage because I only hear good things about it. 🙂 Here’s my TTT!

I NEED to read a Morgan Matson book! Also, Marie Rutkoski has another series out, the first book is called The Wonder Cabinet. I picked it up used at my library for dirt cheap, but I haven’t read it yet.

With Jenny Han, I’m not that keen on her Summer series but the series she has co-written with Vivian Siobhan is interesting and I actually have the first book on my shelf. 🙂

I definitely recommend Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour – that book is so much fun! I have yet to read Since You’ve Been Gone but I plan to soon!
Completely agree about Marie Rutkoski – I love The Winner’s Curse and now am dying for the second book!
I’m really enjoying Anne Bishop’s newest series – I liked Murder of Crows even more than Written in Red. Simon. ❤
Maggie Stiefvater is one of my favorite authors – you have to read The Scorpio Races and Shiver!

I can’t wait to read more Morgan Matson books. And The Winner’s Crime needs to be released soon, like tomorrow? LOL 🙂 Thanks for the feedback on Anne Bishop. I must get a copy of Murder of Crows soon. More Simon makes me happy. I’ll probably be checking out Maggie Stiefvater’s other series after I’ve finished her The Raven Cycle series. 🙂

You know, I don’t think I have ever read a Morgan Matson book! I so need to fix that. I like Maggie Stiefvater. I’ve read three of her books – but my favorite by far is The Scorpio Races! I still need to read The Raven Boys books.

The only author I’ve read on your list is Maggie Stiefvater and that was the first two books in her Mercy Falls series (which to me was just okay). But I have a few others on my list of authors to try. I can’t wait to finally read one of Anne Bishops books.
Thanks for stopping by my TTT Camille 🙂

Read Rites of Passage next! LOL 🙂 It’s amazing! As for Jojo Moyes, many are saying that not all of her books are like Me Before You which was basically all feels.. so even though I’m also a bit scared of reading more from her, I want to find out for myself how she’s written her other books. 🙂
