I just came back from a 4-month long reading and blogging hiatus since moving to Tokyo from Manila and I probably just read one or two books in those four months.
But now, we have summer break from school and I am doing a reading marathon of sorts and just powering through all the titles I had wanted to read before but wasn’t really able to because of the adjustment period and my classes.

Cover Love is a new feature I’m starting here on the blog and it’s basically me gushing on a book cover I’m crazy about.
I’ll be sharing all the elements I love about the cover. I hope you guys enjoy it too!
I’m going to do my first post of Cover Love with a genre that is really close to my heart. I love reading Historical Romances. It’s one of my go-to genres and a lot of my favorite authors are writers in this genre. When it comes to the covers, it can be said that the book covers of historical romance novels have evolved a great deal. Lately, what I’m loving about their covers are the vibrant colors and the dresses: the lovely, beautiful dresses that the heroines on the cover are always wearing. But then there comes a time when one among many would standout in its uniqueness. Last year, it had been the cover for Sarah MacLean’s Never Judge A Lady by Her Cover.

Hi everyone! Yes, it is me. 🙂 And I’ve missed you, guys!
I know I haven’t been that present on the blog and the in the rest of book blogging world. I have been able to post a couple of review and excerpt posts here and there since April but I haven’t really been with you guys as much as I would have wanted.
As many of you know, I made a big move last April, changing my address from one country to another. And it has been exhilarating as it was a bit challenging. I’ve successfully moved from Manila to Tokyo and so far, everything’s been really good. I’m not feeling homesick (so far!) so I guess that’s a good thing.
