Top Ten Books I Want to Re-read…

jellicoe road
JELLICOE ROAD by Melina Marchetta. This is one of the greatest stories I have ever read and I can’t believe I haven’t re-read it at least once since the first time I’ve read it.

 queen of attolia
THE QUEEN OF ATTOLIA by Megan Whalen Turner. Gosh, thinking back on the first time I’ve read it… I have zero doubts that I’ll feel exactly the same about this book. In awe.

ignite me
IGNITE ME by Tahereh Mafi. I want to re-read all those lines and all those scenes. I want to relive all. those. FEELS.

 05 hostage to pleasure
HOSTAGE TO PLEASURE by Nalini Singh. Even though I’ve already re-read this one twice this year, I’ll probably be able to squeeze in time for a third re-read before the year ends. That’s how much I love this book.

  romancing mister bridgerton
ROMANCING MISTER BRIDGERTON by Julia Quinn. This is another of my go-to re-reads. When I’m craving for a well-loved, familiar, and light romance with humor, this is the book I turn to over and over again. It never gets old.

Romancing Mister Bridgerton, published in 2002

From Goodreads:

Penelope Featherington has secretly adored her best friend’s brother for… well, it feels like forever. After half a lifetime of watching Colin Bridgerton from afar, she thinks she knows everything about him, until she stumbles across his deepest secret… and fears she doesn’t know him at all.

Colin Bridgerton is tired of being thought nothing but an empty-headed charmer, tired of everyone’s preoccupation with the notorious gossip columnist Lady Whistledown, who can’t seem to publish an edition without mentioning him in the first paragraph.

But when Colin returns to London from a trip aboard, he discovers nothing in his life is quite the same, especially Penelope Featherington, the girl haunting his dreams!

And when he discovers that Penelope has secrets of her own, this elusive bachelor must decide… is she his biggest threat, or his promise of a happy ending?

This is one of my ultimate favorite books. Of All Time. I’ve re-read this countless of times. This is one of those books that I want to read again for the first time, if ever that were possible. I found joy in every page turned and some of the best scenes never fail to make my heart skip a beat or make me swoon.

Penelope and Colin are two of my favorite characters as well, individually and of course as a couple. They bring out all kinds of emotions from each other and all kinds of feelings from me as a reader.

Find out more about Julia Quinn via her Website, Facebook, and Goodreads accounts.
