Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the gals at The Broke and the Bookish. For this week, here’s my…

Top Ten Book Covers I’d Frame as Pieces of Art…

king of attolia
THE KING OF ATTOLIA by Megan Whalen Turner. This is book cover perfection for me. I just adore it from the bottom of my heart.

ignite me
IGNITE ME by Tahereh Mafi. The memory of Warner that it evokes. ‘Nuff said. 🙂

what i did for a duke
WHAT I DID FOR A DUKE by Julie Anne Long. I love historical romances and this is just one of the most romantic book covers I’ve seen in the genre. I’d totally frame this one and I don’t care what everybody would say. LOL 🙂

cruel beauty
CRUEL BEAUTY by Rosamund Hodge. I just really, really love this cover, with the rose intertwined with the winding stairs, the contrast of the colors black and red.

unhinged
UNHINGED by A.G. Howard. Unhinged! I don’t know what else to say. 🙂

Cress
CRESS by Marissa Meyer. So, I have Cinder on my shelf but haven’t gotten around to reading it yet and so I haven’t gotten around to the other books too. But I just love this cover out of all the three.

natural born charmer
NATURAL BORN CHARMER by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I fell in love with this cover ever since I first saw it, mainly because I love the dress!

blue lily, lily blue
BLUE LILY, LILY BLUE by Maggie Stiefvater. I haven’t read this series yet but when I saw this featured by many bloggers in a weekly meme a couple of weeks ago, I just found it really gorgeous. I love the profile and the shades of black and green.

a man above reproach
A MAN ABOVE REPROACH by Evelyn Pryce. I’m a big fan of Regency London and I always enjoy looking at photos and drawings of the fashion during that time. And I just love the painting of a gentleman’s clothing on this cover.

halo
HALO by Alexandra Adornetto. I haven’t read any of the books from this series but gosh, that cover is gorgeous. I’m a sucker for silhouetted profiles.

There you go. My Top Ten Tuesday for this week. What are yours? Leave your link in the comment section and I will definitely check them out.

  1. Yay, King of Attolia! I haven’t read Man Above Reproach yet, but I really want to, and the cover art is perfect.

  2. I actually just finished Natural Born Charmer last night and loved it! I love that cover too – definitely because of the dress!

Cress is my favorite cover of the three, too! You need to make time to read that series because it’s AMAZING!

  3. I forgot how gorgeous the cover for Halo is! (I’ve read the first two books in the series and was underwhelmed, but you can’t deny how pretty the cover art is!)
I’m also going to check out Unhinged now- such amazing colors!

  4. Oh, very cool list! Some I’ve seen before, some new to me. I especially like Natural Born Charmer and A Man Above Reproach — they both are simple but really set the scene. Nice!
