Top Ten Songs I Love…

This week’s list is a bit different. It has almost nothing to do with books, though sometimes I have these songs in the background when I’m reading so there’s that.

There’s no particular order to them. And I’ve included two Korean songs here. I love them all and I love everything about them. But most specially, the lyrics and music.

LOST BOY by Ruth B

BETWEEN THE LINES by Sara Bareilles

Top Ten Books on my Spring TBR List…

I received my ARC last week and I’m so excited to read this one. It’s book 1 in Kate Meader’s new series.

dark triumphDARK TRIUMPH by Robin LaFevers

I loved Book 1 so I can’t wait to read the second book featuring Sybella. And Beast.

of silk and steamOF SILK AND STEAM by Bec McMaster

I admit that I have had the eARC of this since late last year and I really, really wanted to read it since it’s finally Leo’s story. Unfortunately, real life can get in the way of reading sometimes. I hope this spring would change that a bit.

silver bastardSILVER BASTARD by Joanna Wylde

It’s a brand-new series from Joanna Wylde but it features a character we’ve already been introduced to in the previous book. Oh, Puck! I can’t wait to finish his story (since I already started reading my e-ARC).

chase meCHASE ME by Tessa Bailey

Tessa Bailey’s New Adult series kicks off with Chase Me. Woohoo!

Top Ten New-To-Me Authors I Read in 2014…

 jellicoe road the piper's son
MELINA MARCHETTA. This is a such a no-brainer. She’s one of the greatest author finds ever for me. These two books have become two of my favorite books of all time.

shatter me unravel me ignite me
TAHEREH MAFI. I’ll never forget this author for bringing to life or to the pages Warner.

the opportunist
TARRYN FISHER. Gosh, this book. And though I haven’t read the other two books yet I can say, gosh, this whole series. Her writing and her characters will leave an indelible mark on you as a reader. Her story will stay with you long after you’ve turned that last page.

midnight pursuits midnight action one night of scandal
ELLE KENNEDY. Her kind of combustible romance and writing are just the perfect match to my romantic heart. She knows how to tell a story and she does it so very well.

officer off limits asking for trouble staking his claim
TESSA BAILEY. Her Brazen Line novels are to die for. I love how she blends the sweet, the sexy, and the completely romantic.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the gals at The Broke and the Bookish.

So I decided to split my list to two with the first part consisting of new releases and the second part with those that have already been released and I’m dying to dive into.

Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR…

 once upon a rose
ONCE UPON A ROSE by Laura Florand. This has been a long time coming but I fully trust Laura Florand to bring her A-game every time so I didn’t mind the waiting.

the librarian principle
THE LIBRARIAN PRINCIPLE by Helena Hunting. The premise for this one is so cute, funny, and super sexy so I can’t wait to read this.

say yes to the marquess
SAY YES TO THE MARQUESS by Tessa Dare. More Tessa Dare is always good. I can’t wait for this second book in her newest series. I love the blurb and the fact that it’s from the POV of the hero.

i'll meet you there
I’LL MEET YOU THERE by Heather Demetrios. This will be my first from this author and I can’t wait. I love small town settings in books. The story sounds so promising.

Top Ten Sequels I Can’t Wait To Get…

the winner's crime
THE WINNER’S CRIME (The Winner’s Curse #2) by Marie Rutkoski. This is a no-brainer. I’ve fallen head over heels with The Winner’s Curse and just reading the very short excerpt from Book #2 makes me want to read it more. And soon, please.

CRUSHED (Redemption #2) by Lauren Layne. I didn’t think Michael and Olivia were getting their own stories. But after reading Olivia’s, I can’t wait to read Michael’s and see what Lauren Layne has in store for him.

P.S. I STILL LOVE YOU (To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before #2) by Jenny Han. That ending from Book #1 just left me wanting more, there’s just no other way to feel about it. There’s more ‘self’ and other people to discover for our heroine. I can’t wait.

ANTICIPATION (Satisfaction #2) by Sarah Mayberry. After finishing Book 1, I had a feeling that Blue and Eddie deserve their own stories and it was even better to find out that Sarah Mayberry is doing a book on these two, together! I’m so excited!

ROCK HARD (Rock Kiss #2) by Nalini Singh. After reading Rock Addiction, I knew something was brewing behind the scenes between Charlotte and her new boss. I knew it!

THE QUEEN OF ATTOLIA by Megan Whalen Turner. Gosh, thinking back on the first time I’ve read it… I have zero doubts that I’ll feel exactly the same about this book. In awe.

ignite me
IGNITE ME by Tahereh Mafi. I want to re-read all those lines and all those scenes. I want to relive all. those. FEELS.

 05 hostage to pleasure
HOSTAGE TO PLEASURE by Nalini Singh. Even though I’ve already re-read this one twice this year, I’ll probably be able to squeeze in time for a third re-read before the year ends. That’s how much I love this book.

  romancing mister bridgerton
ROMANCING MISTER BRIDGERTON by Julia Quinn. This is another of my go-to re-reads. When I’m craving for a well-loved, familiar, and light romance with humor, this is the book I turn to over and over again. It never gets old.

Top Ten Tuesday (34): Top Ten Authors I’ve Only Read One Book From But NEED to Read More

d32cf-toptentuesday2

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the gals at The Broke and the Bookish.

Top Ten Authors I’ve Only Read One Book From But NEED to Read More…

TARRYN FISHER. I’ve only read The Opportunist from her Love Me with Lies series and that book just about destroyed me. I can’t wait to read the rest of her books.

JOY N. HENSLEY. Rites of Passage is one of my favorite reads of the year and Joy Hensley’s debut novel. But she needs to write more books so I have more to read. LOL 🙂

MORGAN MATSON. I’ve only read Since You’ve Been Gone and absolutely adored the story as well as her writing style. She should definitely be on this list.

JENNY HAN. I definitely adored To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and its sequel is one of my most anticipated releases for 2015. I love how she writes so I’m definitely going to checking out her other series.

LILY MAXTON. I was really impressed with The Wager and gushed about it HERE. There are a lot of impressive writers in the historical romance genre, both old and new, and it’s always great to find one that speaks to you and your reader’s mind. I’m definitely on the look out for more from this author.
